Benjamin died on 30 August 1932 at unknown location, at age 64. Newspaper obituary. Newspaper unknown. - "Services Held Today For B. C. Maxwell - Funeral servics for Benjamin C. Maxwell, 63, were to have been held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Lane Prairie church by the Rev. Charles Pitts with burial in the Lane Prairie cemetery. Mr. Maxwell died Tuesday afternoon at his home, 210 South Washington street, at 4:45 o'clock following a sudden illness. He was stricken while visiting the home of a neighbor. Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Lesueur, and a son, Roy of Waco, and three grandchildren. R. H. Deering & Son had charge of arrangements.".3 His body was interred at Lane Prairie Cemetery, at Lane Prairie Cemetery.
